The Rev. Dr. William Paul Haugaard

[St. Richard’s Episcopal Church] The Rev. Dr. William Paul Haugaard died on July 30, 2016. He was 87 years old. A graduate of Princeton University and General Theological Seminary, he was most recently the supervising chaplain to the Episcopal students at Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Previously Bill taught at Seabury Western Theological Seminary and was dean of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Caribbean and Vice Chancellor of the Caribbean Center for Advanced Studies. He is survived by his wife Luisa and five children and four grandchildren. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church, Winter Park, Florida, Aug. 13.
