    I wonder why the Church at large is so divided over what are essentially private matters, and is less ocncerned about spreading the Gospel, which is our commission from Jesus.

    ALL of God’s words are important including those against having sex outside of the covenant of marriage. That is referred to has fornication and can be found throughout the old and new testament.
