On Thursday, May 10, Thursdays at 2, a favorite and popular feature produced by the Office of Communications, presents UTO in the Diocese of California.

The United Thank Offering is a gratitude ministry of the Episcopal Church to support innovative mission and ministry in the whole Church. Known worldwide as UTO, the United Thank Offering awards grants for new projects and programs that address innovative approaches to ministries within their communities that meet the stated focus for the year.  In the video, the Rev. Canon Heather Melton, Staff Officer for the United Thank Offering; Kathleen Piraino, Executive Director of the Episcopal Impact Fund; Bishop Marc Andrus of California; and Joanna Henrichs, UTO Coordinator for the Diocese of California, share why UTO is important in their lives and in the life of the Church.

UTO in the Diocese of California is here.

Thursdays at 2 is a weekly preview of Episcopal Church innovative ministries. Every Thursday at 2 pm Eastern, a new video illustrating the work of congregations and individuals will be posted on the Episcopal Church’s Facebook page here and YouTube Channel here.
