The Living Church Foundation is proud to announce the launch of The Living Word Plus, a premium version of its free sermon resource, The Living Word (TLW).

Every Monday morning, subscribers to TLW+ will receive a package of materials related to the lectionary readings for the coming Sunday. These resources are carefully curated by the editors of the Living Church, designed for preachers, teachers, and anyone seeking to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the Sunday lectionary readings.

The Living Word Plus includes all the resources of The Living Word free newsletter, plus a wealth of additional material, including:

  • Exploring the Texts, as a first, direct reflection on the Sunday lectionary readings;
  • Preaching Today, gathering three contemporary sermons by some of the best living preachers;
  • Classic Texts, collecting ancient and modern voices on topics pertinent to the week’s readings;
  • Articles, presenting contemporary essays for the week.

TLW+ subscribers will also be invited to participate in biweekly Zoom discussions with other preachers.

For $5 per month, TLW+ is an essential resource for preaching, teaching, worship planning, and individual study, designed to save time and build community. For more information or to subscribe, go to livingchurch.org/tlw-plus.

“In this unprecedented time when people around the globe are anxious and uncertain, strong preaching is more important than ever. I am truly grateful for a resource like The Living Word,” said the Most Rev. Michael B. Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church.
