Job Description
St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church seeks a full-time Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries (clergy preferred).

This passionate, innovative, and experienced person will help grow our ministry among Children, Youth and Families. Our intent is not only to encourage Children, Youth and Families to come on Sundays, but to prepare them to be the Church in the world, wherever God plants them, having experienced the love, joy, and support of our Episcopal community of faith.

Parish-wide surveys, townhall meetings, and numerous small gatherings over several months confirmed the Parish’s commitment to this effort.

The Director for Children, Youth and Families will report to and collaborate closely with the Rector as a partner in ministry, especially in the development of offerings for Children, Youth and Families. Other opportunities for a clergy person include preaching and presiding regularly and offering pastoral care to parishioners and our ministry partners.

Lay applicants are also encouraged. We require applicants who are steeped in the liturgical tradition and are confirmed Episcopalians. We are looking for a demonstrated passion for children, youth and families in their faith journeys.

Salary and benefits are subject to diocesan guidelines for clergy and lay persons, and are negotiable based upon experience.
