Holy Cross Episcopal Church is located in downtown Simpsonville, about 20 minutes south of Greenville, SC, one of the fastest growing areas in the country. We are a warm, friendly, and inclusive congregation, committed to finding God’s grace and love through worship, fellowship, support, and spiritual growth. Our community is experiencing incredible renewal as we rebuild coming out of the pandemic and a parish transition. In that spirit, Holy Cross seeks a priest or transitional deacon to serve as full-time Associate Rector or Curate (depending on experience), to share with the Rector in pastoral and sacramental leadership of the whole parish, with a special emphasis on pastoral care, as well as ministry among families with young children. In addition, the Curate/Associate Rector will assist with and share in all aspects of the priestly vocation – preaching, teaching, liturgical planning and execution, pastoral care, program planning, volunteer management, administrative duties, and more – in a vibrant, growing transitional parish. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep love for Jesus that inspires them to be grace-filled, compassionate, energetic, and creative. |
