Palmer Trinity School (PTS) was privileged to host The Very Reverend Dr. Robert Willis, Dean Emeritus of Canterbury, on Friday, March 8 where he addressed students at the school’s Trinity Chapel. Also in attendance was The Very Reverend Jason Roberson, provost of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Miami. Following a lunch with the leadership team, the distinguished guests engaged with classes in the school’s lecture hall and Trinity Chapel.

“We were very honored to have had the visit of Dean Willis,” said The Reverend Dr. Mary Ellen Cassini, chaplain at PTS. “His lifetime of ministry, compassionate pastoral work and support of our global communities have inspired us with lessons we can apply in our life.”

The Very Rev. Dr. Willis served as Dean of Canterbury for over 20 years. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, he gained worldwide recognition for his morning prayer videos that streamed from the Cathedral. His daily meditations on YouTube are cherished worldwide.
