Scotland: Primus comments on the death of Baroness Thatcher

Posted Apr 9, 2013

[Scottish Episcopal Church] The Most Rev. David Chillingworth, bishop of St. Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane and primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, says “Margaret Thatcher will be remembered for her achievement in becoming Britain’s first woman Prime Minister long after debate about the merits and demerits of her time in office have faded. She was a passionate and dedicated servant of her country. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as they mourn her.”
