Trinity Episcopal Church is a diverse, inclusive, and loving church located in historic Natchitoches, Louisiana, settled in 1714. We are a vibrant and close group with a preschool as a mission and are committed to the Christian education of our members with Christ as our model for love. We attempt to find Christ in ourselves and others. Our congregation seeks a rector who shares our desire for a partnership of ordained and lay ministry. We value the tradition and ritual in our service, music and liturgy, while trusting in reason, education, and contemporary thought.
Natchitoches has a population of about 18,000 and is an easy 4-hour drive from Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, and Little Rock. The European like downtown is located on Cane River Lake and hosts the world-famous Christmas Festival. The city has a large and growing regional medical center and a diverse population.
Trinity has a strong relationship with Northwestern State University which enriches our community with opportunities in academics, the arts, and sporting events. Our talented choir is primarily comprised of college students. We also have ties with Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, located in Natchitoches, the State’s only residential high school for gifted and talented students.
Although small, we desire to grow and spread our ministry. We want to strengthen the relationships in our church and become the family for those who seek love through Christ. |
