 St. John’s of Lattingtown, Locust Valley will be hosting a “Come and Sing Choral Evensong” on Saturday, June 1, to which all singers, choirs, and choral directors are invited. The musical director will be Katherine Dienes-Williams, Director of Music at Guildford Cathedral and one of the world’s leading choral directors. The day is a perfect occasion to brush up on your singing-Evensong skills or experience the transformative transcendent beauty of this service for the first time in the jewel-box surroundings of St. John’s. The program runs from 10 am to 5pm, and the cost for participants is $20 which covers lunch and music. Students in full-time education are free.
