[LeaderResources] LeaderResources announced Sept. 5 the appointment of Tracey Herzer as publisher. Herzer has served as executive director of LeaderResources since 2003 and as a trainer/contributor for the popular Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program since 1997. She brings 15 plus years of parish experience as a youth minister and Christian educator, as well as extensive skills in writing and consulting.

“I’m excited about this opportunity to lead LeaderResources as we move into this new phase in our life,” Herzer said.

The Rev. Linda L. Grenz, publisher, CEO and founder of LeaderResources, has accepted Bishop-elect W. Nicholas Knisely’s invitation to become the canon to the ordinary in the Diocese of Rhode Island when he becomes bishop in November. Grenz will join the Rhode Island diocesan staff in September, so will step down from daily operations of LeaderResources but will continue her involvement as chair of the board.

Grenz expressed her confidence in Herzer and Louisa Bushey, the company’s customer service and finance manager, to carry forward the work they’ve been doing together. “I look forward to sharing the new resources they will be offering in the coming years to the churches I will be working with in Rhode Island,” she added.

LeaderResources provides quality congregational development and Christian formation materials for children, youth and adults, specializing in unique, online resources for congregations and dioceses.
