On Thursday, May 3, Thursdays at 2, a favorite and popular feature produced by the Office of Communications, presents HUB: Helping Urban Bicyclists.

The HUB—or Helping Urban Bicyclists—is a ministry spearheaded by St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stockton, CA (Diocese of San Joaquin). Deacon Stephen Bentley, with a small and mighty group of volunteers, collects and repairs bicycles to distribute to their neighbors who need reliable and inexpensive transportation to work, to mandated programs, and to church. HUB: Helping Urban Bicyclists explores how God is working through the HUB to bridge the gap between community and congregation, and prayer and action.

HUB: Helping Urban Bicyclists is here.

Thursdays at 2 is a weekly preview of Episcopal Church innovative ministries. Every Thursday at 2 pm Eastern, a new video illustrating the work of congregations and individuals will be posted on the Episcopal Church’s Facebook page here and YouTube Channel here.
