The Episcopal Network for Stewardship names J. Davey Gerhard III as executive director

Board of Directors, TENS
Posted Dec 18, 2019

The TENS board of directors announces the appointment of J. Davey Gerhard III as its next executive director. Davey will continue to serve the Diocese of California as Director of Development. The TENS Board of Directors is grateful that Davey will be able to continue in that position while taking over the leadership of the Episcopal Network for Stewardship. Davey succeeds Richard Felton who retires after five years on December 31, 2019. The board thanks Rick for his exemplary service and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Davey comes to TENS with more than two decades of fundraising experience, focusing on faith-based fundraising, communications, advocacy, and social media community development. When he is not raising money for Episcopal congregations, Davey is a member of Holy Innocents in San Francisco, enjoys cooking and baking, is always planning his next camping trip, and loves to travel with his longtime companion and roommate.

TENS is an association of church leaders who understand, practice and proclaim God’s call to generosity by providing training and resources for stewardship across The Episcopal Church and beyond. Please visit our website to access materials featuring our 2020 theme, Faith-filled Generosity.

TENS is entirely dependent on the generosity of members and friends to offer our services. Please consider a generous year-end gift at www.TENS.org.
