![]() Sterling, VA – St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Sterling, VA announces all gifts/donations collected on Easter Sunday, 2022* will go to support World Central Kitchen and its efforts in providing millions of meals to refugees in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Hungary. To contribute to the Easter offering supporting World Central Kitchen: St. Matthew’s offers several options to contribute to the World Central Kitchen Easter offering.
“This special Easter offering is an extension of our desire to support those in need throughout the world. St. Matthew’s has a long history of feeding our neighbors here in Northern Virginia and the world through our Celebration Garden providing fresh seasonal vegetables to local food pantries, Backpack Buddies, annual food drives, weekly support of local school food pantries, and most recently, over $20,000 raised to support St. Mathieu’s school food program in Chapoteau, Haiti.” -Kathleen Bellamy, St. Matthew’s Marketing & Communications Director St. Matthew’s invites all to Easter worship in-person or online with several service options: 5:45 AM Easter Sunrise Worship Join us at Saint Matthew’s for a stunning 5:45 AM Sunrise Worship Service with Paschal fire followed by a light Easter Brunch in the Parish Hall. 9:30 AM Festival Easter Worship with Band Join us at 9:30 AM for our vibrant Festival Easter Worship with Band as we joyfully celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Children are invited to join us for an outdoor egg hunt following the service. 11:15 AM Classic Easter Worship Join us at Saint Matthew’s for joyful Easter Worship with Choir & Strings as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.
