[Episcopal Church Office of Public Affairs] Based on the weather reports, critical notices from government agencies, and strong advice of emergency officials, the Episcopal Church Center at 815 Second Ave. in New York City, NY as well as the Office of Government Relations and Office of Federal Ministries, both in Washington, DC, will remain closed on Tuesday, October 30 because of Hurricane Sandy.

“We remain committed to the welfare of the staff in this emergency situation,” stated Bishop Stacy Sauls, Chief Operating Officer.

Decisions concerning the remainder of the week will be made day-by-day following on-going assessments.
