[Diocese of Lexington] Nominations for the seventh Bishop of Lexington are open until January 31, 2012. All persons who feel called to this position are encouraged to apply.

Those wishing to nominate someone for the position should direct the candidate to the transition website after January 1 to begin the application process. Names and contact information including email and USPS address of candidates may also be emailed to the chair of the Nominating Committee at richard@diolexbishop7.org. The Committee encourages individuals to talk with the candidate before submitting her/his name. Upon receipt of the nomination, the Committee will contact the candidate, advise him/her of the nomination, and invite the candidate to begin the application process.

Receipt of names for nominations will end at 11:59 PM EST, January 31, 2012.

All documentation from nominees wishing to enter the discernment process with us (application form, current ministry portfolio from the Office for Transition Ministry, and answers to essay questions) must be received no later than 11:59 PM EST, February 11, 2012.
