Newark diocese offer Advent email meditationsPosted Nov 30, 2012 |
[Episcopal Diocese of Newark] Once again the Christian Formation Commission will offer daily meditations during the season of Advent, which begins December 2. Each day you will receive a scripture reading, a reflection on that reading and a short prayer. Join us as we journey together in anticipation of our Saviour’s birth. We hope that it will help you to prepare your hearts and minds for the coming of Jesus.
Advent is often a challenge as we are bombarded by sales, parties and a myriad of other distractions. Please consider taking time to slow down, wait, pray and reflect on the hope and possibilities that Jesus offers us.
Sign up for email meditations here.
