Co-sponsored by the Episcopal Church Office of Latino/Hispanic Ministries and Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, N.C., “Nuevo Amanecer is a biennial event that offers practical tools and a network of support to better equip for ministry those working within the Latino/Hispanic community as well as those who want to be,” explained the Rev. Canon Anthony Guillén, Episcopal Church Missioner for Latino/Hispanic Ministry.

Keynoting the event are Bishop Dan Edwards of the Diocese of Nevada, Victor A. Feliberty-Ruberté, and the Rev. Simon Bautista of the Diocese of Washington.

Clergy, diocesan missioners, parish staff, church planters and lay leaders are invited to expand their knowledge by sharing best practices and exploring new methods of stewardship, church growth and evangelism. Participants will learn strategies and ideas for starting and strengthening Latino/Hispanic congregations.
