[Episcopal Relief & Development] Episcopal Relief & Development is developing its next strategic plan, which will cover 2013 to 2015. The agency is seeking advice from supporters and friends around the Episcopal Church.
In 2009, the first strategic plan was launched to set institutional priorities and guide the organization’s work through 2012. Major developments and commitments were made in the following areas: International Programs, US Disaster Preparedness and Response, Church Engagement, Funding and Visibility and Awareness. Under the plan, key initiatives such as the US Disaster Program and Church Engagement were started.
“This year is the last in the current triennium, and one of Episcopal Relief & Development’s major tasks is preparing our next strategic plan,” said Rob Radtke, President of Episcopal Relief & Development. “We hope that Episcopalians will take a few minutes to offer advice and feedback that will help inform our discussions about new priorities and goals.”
A major part of the new plan is Episcopal Relief & Development’s 75th anniversary in 2015. “We welcome ideas about ways to honor and celebrate this important milestone,” continued Radtke.
An online survey is available for supporters to share their insights. It can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MZ83DTV. Completed surveys must be received by Sunday, February 5, 2012.
