Episcopal Networks Collaborative Issues Interim Report on General Convention Resolution Follow-upEpiscopal Networks Collaborative Posted May 20, 2020 |
|
The Episcopal Networks Collaborative has issued an interim report on the current status of the 41 social justice resolutions the collaborative member organizations wrote or endorsed for the 2018 General Convention. Member organizations are the Episcopal Network for Economic Justice, the Union of Black Episcopalians, and the Episcopal Ecological Network. “These resolutions,” says Laura Russell of the Collaborative’s General Convention Task Force, have the common theme of justice – economic, reconciliation, or environmental. We want to remind church members of the existence and importance of these resolutions.” More information will be available this summer when the interim bodies do their reports for the Blue Book.
