The Episcopal Diocese of Georgia has received notification from Presiding Bishop and Primate Michael B. Curry and Registrar of General Convention, the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, that Bishop-Elect Frank S. Logue has received the required majority of consents in the canonical consent process detailed in Canon III.11.3.
In giving consent to his ordination and consecration, Standing Committees and bishops with jurisdiction attest to knowing of “no impediment on account of which” Bishop-Elect Logue ought not to be ordained as bishop, and that his election was conducted in accordance with the Canons.
The Rev. Canon Frank S. Logue was elected Bishop on November 16, 2019.
La Diócesis de Georgia notificada del exitoso proceso de consentimiento canónico
La Diócesis Episcopal de Georgia recibió una notificación del Obispo Presidente y Primado Michael B. Curry y del Registrador de la Convención General, el Reverendo Canónigo Michael Barlowe, de que el Obispo Electo Frank S. Logue recibió la mayoría requerida de consentimientos en el proceso de consentimiento canónico detallado en el Canon III.11.3.
Al dar el consentimiento a su ordenación y consagración, los Comités Permanentes y los obispos con jurisdicción dan fe de saber que “no hay impedimento por el cual” el Obispo-Electo Logue no deba ser ordenado obispo, y que su elección se realizó de acuerdo con los cánones.
El Reverendo Canónigo Frank S. Logue fue elegido obispo el 16 de noviembre de 2019.
