Applications are now accepted for Conant Grants from the Episcopal Church for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Conant Grant funds are provided for the improvement of seminary-based theological education. Specifically, the grants are directed for the support of research, writing and course development undertaken by faculty members at the recognized Episcopal seminaries in the United States.

Information, instructions, and application are available here.

Deadline for submitting an application is Sunday, March 14. Grant recipients will be announced in mid-April.

Applicants who were awarded grants in 2020 and have either deferred or not completed the projects will not be eligible for an award in 2021.

The funds are derived from Trust Fund #649.00 established by a bequest from William Schubael Conant in 1953.
