ens_103113_idbabawebsite[Anglican Communion News Service] The Anglican Communion has launched a new online collection of resources to support the Continuing Indaba programme. The new Continuing Indaba website provides downloadable resource guides to the Indaba processes that have been developed within the Anglican Communion over the past five years through theological consultation and reflection, pilot conversations and detailed evaluation.

Continuing Indaba is a programme focusing on developing the relational bonds of affection in the Anglican Communion. Its aim is to make real a common bond of working in mission as equal partners in the Gospel. Angharad Parry Jones, who facilitates the Indaba process for the Anglican Communion, said: “The use of the term ‘Indaba’ indicates a desire to use non-Western models of working and ‘continuing’ indicates an unfinished task.”

In addition to providing resources, the website includes step-by-step guides to Indaba, backed up by biblical theology and evaluated processes; advice on how to “live reconciliation” and search for truth together; as well as news and theological reflection.
