Job Description | |
St. Augustine’s: A place to be the love of God and to feel the love of God.
This active congregational on the North Shore of the “Big Island” of Hawaiʻi seeks a half-time vicar to inspire further growth and further ministerial connection to their community. Through the pandemic, this congregation has not only pulled together for mutual support but increased their ministry to the larger region. One shining example is the 17-year community meal ministry which transformed into a bi-weekly event in 2020 – they now serve 500 meals with a drive-through delivery, now with increased community partnership. As they’ve mentioned in their congregational profile: “While we nurture ourselves within the church we look to a future beyond our Red Doors.” Compensation includes a vicarage. |
