Job Description | |
St. Anthony’s is currently searching for a part time Vicar as we wish our current Vicar a happy and well deserved retirement.
Who we are – A welcoming and loving parish that is deeply involved with community ministries and outreach. This includes a community prayer/meditation ministry that has grown through development of our property. We encourage community use of our prayer labyrinth and walking stations of the cross and have provided meditation materials and instructions. We have been blessed over the past several years to be able to pay off all debt allowing us to enlarge our facility, update our kitchen and parish hall and install a modern organ. Strong Lay Leadership and a dedicated, generous core group have been a constant for us at St. Anthony’s and we all look forward to what the future brings. Who we are looking for – A Vicar who exhibits an engaging, welcoming, and warm attitude. An effective, compassionate communicator to lead our pastoral care and counseling. Someone who is a visionary and has experience with church growth. Although we are a small parish we are poised for growth as the area around us is constantly growing with new planned communities. Our new Vicar should also work closely with the vestry and Diocese to ensure a strong partnership and continued advancement. |
