||The SVP, Church Relations Officer represents the Church Pension Group at events and conferences across the Episcopal Church and works with the Chief Church Relations Officer in establishing healthy, mutually beneficial relationships between CPG and the Episcopal Church. The CRO advises the CCRO, CEO and Executive Leadership Team on church related matters to ensure continued success with CPG’s clients, church leadership, and institutions of the Episcopal Church. The CRO is also responsible for gathering, tracking, and monitoring information to assist with the ongoing work related to both the General Convention and individual Diocesan Conventions.
The successful candidate will be an ordained Episcopal Priest with at least 10 years of post seminary experience with increasing responsibility in cathedral, parish, seminary, or diocesan leadership positions; or equivalent experience and seniority in related secular employment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the polity of the Episcopal Church, its institutions, staffing, governance, and their relationships to one another. S/he will have advanced presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engender confidence and credibility with diverse constituents. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. A Master of Divinity is required.
