Florence, Alabama and the Shoals area have consistently been ranked among the South’s Best Small Towns by Southern Living magazine. We are located in the Northwest corner of the state, along the banks of the beautiful Tennessee River. While we enjoy all four seasons, our milder winters are a draw for those retiring from the colder states. Florence and the Shoals are part of the Americana Music Triangle. We are home to the University of North Alabama, an NCAA Division 1 university. Florence and the Shoals are roughly an hour west of Huntsville and two hours south of Nashville, giving its residents the best of both worlds of small town feel with big city amenities.

We seek a part time rector to serve our parish of theologically diverse Christians with a strong commitment to outreach and service. We believe that the grace of Jesus Christ and our faith in Him is the foundation of our lives. The strengths we are looking for are leadership, evangelism, pastoral care, and a commitment to follow Jesus with us.
