Job Description
We’re pleased to announce a unique ministry opportunity in the Diocese of Southern Ohio. Indian Hill Church was founded 75 years ago just outside Cincinnati as a dual denomination, Episcopal and Presbyterian worshiping community and continues to celebrate their unique identity and mission as a community together. Fully a member of both the Diocese of Southern Ohio and the Presbytery of Cincinnati, Indian Hill Church demonstrates a commitment to the Good News of Jesus Christ lived out in both traditions side-by-side in worship, formation, service, and mission. The next Rector of Indian Hill Church will lead in a partnership of equals with the other full-time member of the clergy staff, the Presbyterian pastor, and with the church’s Vestry/Session drawn from members of both traditions.

Indian Hill Church is a thriving, well-resourced and growing multigenerational congregation seeking an experienced Episcopal priest having spiritual gifts for collaborative leadership, thoughtful preaching, intentional discernment, and pastoral wisdom. Our next rector will continue in our practice of blending our traditions whenever possible and recognizing and affirming points of difference as markers of our cherished heritages.
