The Church of the Good Samaritan is a vibrant congregation with a strong focus on tradition, music, social justice and intellectual inquiry. Our members care deeply for each other and our community. We have a variety of gifts, enviable resources, and many energetic and self-directed ministries.

Our church is located in the lively town of Corvallis, Oregon, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. It’s an easy drive to the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains. It’s also home to Oregon State University.

We are seeking a collaborative leader and spiritual shepherd who will bring vision and help us innovate, who can build bridges between us and our community, who can hold boundaries and mediate differences. We are looking for a rector who will support what’s in motion and facilitate deeper connections within and beyond our church.

In the next five years, we recognize the need to connect with a new generation of young, diverse, intellectually curious people, to innovate our funding model, to better serve our community, and to help our ministries plan for the future.
