Located in the historic downtown of Bristol Virginia, Emmanuel Episcopal Church is committed to our mission, “To serve and nurture our community, unifying all in Christ and each other.” Our core values are inclusion, formation, liturgy, and outreach. We serve the community through programs and participate in local, area-wide, national, and global outreach activities through volunteering, offering our resources, prayer, and financial support. We strive to reflect our vision statement and be, “a community where everyone is loved, valued, and belongs.” As a congregation, there is energy and a desire to grow closer to God, each other, and our community.We seek a rector who:

- Relates to people across areas of difference, and navigate the challenges and opportunities inherent in communities with diverse identities and ideas.
- Demonstrates success in managing the administrative aspects of church management.
- Will challenge, guide, and support our parish in strategic planning and program development.
