The Rector directs a ministry team consisting of a part-time associate priest, a deacon, and 3 full-time and 2 part-time employees.  St Mary’s worship tradition tends to be on the high church side.  Our faith community is more than half seasonal who are locally resident about six months each year.  Our membership is largely retired seniors— with younger families, youth and children being a smaller proportion.  We seek a priest who is:  collaborative, inclusive, and transparent; a good communicator; down to earth; and an effective supervisor.    Our next Rector is a person who: enjoys preaching and teaching; views financial stability to be an important part of congregational health; who attends to her/his own spirituality and good health, and who is committed to assisting parishioners do the same.  Our next Rector should reflect our congregation commitment to accepting and welcoming all people of all ages, ethnicity, orientation, and economic and personal characteristics.
