Job Description
Church of the Good Shepherd is a vibrant and ministry focused congregation of 231 members with an ASA of 189. They hold dear and strive to live up to their credo “All are welcome, no exceptions.” There are close to 60 ministry opportunities at Church of the Good Shepherd to assist the church, the community and the world. Over the past decade, financial transparency has become the norm and is evidenced by the accessibility to our financial reports on the church website.

The Church of the Good Shepherd sits in the quaint waterfront downtown of Dunedin, Florida. The church campus comprises 2.07 acres located along Edgewater Drive and Albert Street.  Nestled on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, Dunedin is a hidden gem located just north of Clearwater. In Dunedin, you will find a charming and active downtown, beautiful parks, recreational activities for all ages, history, culture, and educational opportunities. Dunedin, Florida, is a lovely town of 36,500 people with a median age of 53. Thirty-one percent of the population is made up of families with children under the age of 18.

The Church of the Good Shepherd has a history of sustaining, loving and joyful relationships with its rectors. They have thrived under the clergy, vestry, and parishioner leadership in the past decade, and are prayerfully seeking a new rector who will not only build on the successes of the recently retired rector, but also guide and walk with Good Shepherd into their new season of life and shared ministry.
