|St. David’s Episcopal Church|
|We seek a dynamic, committed, Christian leader who loves to preside in worship and preach the gospel so that the congregation is inspired to love each other and be Christ’s disciples in the world. He or she will possess strong pastoral skills, administrative acumen, and a shared-leadership style.
An ability to teach a lively faith to others of all ages through personal example, story-telling, and humor is essential. Moreover, we need a priest who will oversee our Christian Formation activities for all ages, working with a dedicated cadre of lay leaders and teachers. We are also open to innovative worship experiences and enhanced family home activities.
The congregation is anxious to grow in spirit and in numbers to attract more children, youth, and young adults to our magnificent house of worship, our inclusive church community, and our passion to serve others. We believe that our next rector needs to help us increase our community presence in every way possible, including greater use
We are blessed to be in Middlesex County, and near the borders of Mercer and Monmouth Counties. Our members are generous to the parish and engaged within the community. St. David’s has a strong community profile, sharing our facilities with various twelve-step groups, a Coptic Orthodox congregation, and a small Pentecostal church. Nearby Princeton University and Theological Seminary are added resources.
