Job Description
The significant strengths of our parish family: we are intergenerational, we have a genuine love for one another, the number of active young adults, the number of children, our adaptability and our church buildings and grounds.

Liturgically, St. Paul’s has celebrated the Holy Eucharist three Sundays a month, alternating monthly between Rite I and Rite II services. Rite I is also observed seasonally during Advent and Lent. Once a month, Morning Prayer has been the principal service on the Lord’s Day. More recently Morning Prayer has served as the ante-communion, or Liturgy of the Word, followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. We are in the broad-church tradition, leaning slightly toward “high church.” At times, portions of the liturgy are sung or chanted, and incense tends to be used on the principal feast days.

A moment in our recent ministry when we recognized an accomplishment with delight was during “Kickoff Sunday,” September 8, 2019. St. Paul’s has had a positive influx of young people and children to join our church over the last few years. That Sunday, the procession of our Children’s Chapel had over 15 children! Later that day during our annual Parish Picnic, our younger generation filled the space with a sense of vitality and family.

Stewardship is a way of life for the St. Paul’s Family with our active participation in all forms of worship activities. Time, Talent and Treasure are all interdependent for stewardship to reach its potential. The St. Paul’s Family also serve God and others by actively taking TIME out of our daily lives to participate in serving organizations we also support financially (TREASURE). We also use our TALENTs in our worship and ministry in our church and the community. In this year’s budget, we have doubled our outreach expenses to serve more needs outside the walls of our church.
