|Our new Rector should be outgoing, energetic, approachable, and personable. We are looking for someone with spiritual maturity, who serves the Holy Spirit, has his/her own strong faith and spiritual life, and who is open to new ideas. Our new Rector should have strong administrative and leadership skills and be mindful of his/her limitations. He or she should be willing to delegate responsibilities and work effectively with staff members, the Vestry, and the congregation.
We seek someone who will provide pastoral care to meet the needs of our entire congregation, including helping us re-energize our youth program.
We would like a Rector who is a good preacher and teacher, who presents sermons that are thoughtful, relevant to daily life, scripturally based and clearly expressed. We would like our new Rector to be active and visible in the local community and aware of St. Paul’s influence in the surrounding areas. We would like to work with the new rector collaboratively and with commitment to utilize the skills and experience of the parish.
