Job Description
We are looking for a priest skilled in congregational development and excited about strengthening congregations numerically, spiritually, and in missional leadership. In the Diocese of Rochester, we are intentional about formation, choosing to focus our efforts in the areas of relationship, stewardship, and leadership, with the blessed hope of becoming the beloved community Jesus prayed for.

St. Luke’s has a long and varied history of active social ministry and was designated a Jubilee Center by the The Episcopal Church in 2000.

St. Luke’s is committed to outreach ministries, as well as ministering to each other. The Brockport Ecumenical Clothing Center is located at St. Luke’s, which gathers and distributes free clothing to the greater Brockport area communities. There are six Brockport churches that voluntarily coordinate and staff the Center.

Brockport Ecumenical Food Shelf provides food and other household items to those in need. Parishioners donate items weekly and specially requested items as needed.

Brockport Ecumenical Outreach Committee is committed to being a bridge between farm workers, farmers and the rest of the community. The board consists of member churches, which includes St. Luke’s. The BEOC meets every other month at St. Luke’s.

Luke’s Harvest Kitchen provides free nutritious homemade meals and socialization to anyone in our community. The Kitchen is open the second Sunday of each month from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.

North Porch invites parishioners to donate clothing and basic necessities for newborn infants of mothers in need in Brockport and the surrounding area.
