|St. Paul’s mission congregation is the type of call that most priests would love to receive. St. Paul’s is right on the verge of a growth spurt, being in a fast-growing area of metropolitan Green Bay, WI, yes home of the Green Bay Packers. It is a mission ready to become a parish! The congregation has several long-term outreach ministries that have given the work of Jesus great visibility in the area. This in turn has encouraged growth in the congregation.
The vitality and growing edges of this mission congregation have not gone unnoticed, resulting in the receipt of two grants which guarantee the position of a priest to be full-time for three years. That is most likely all of the outside financial support this congregation needs to sustain itself as it moves, with God’s help, from a mission congregation to a parish with a rector on a full-time basis.
