Located in Ames, Iowa, St. John’s by the Campus is adjacent to Iowa State University and was designated by The Episcopal Church as one of the first Episcopal campus ministries in the country. Served by four rectors in our 103-year history, we seek a Priest-in-Charge who will guide our spiritual growth, build relationships within St. John’s and the larger community, provide and guide pastoral care, and teach and preach from a scriptural base. We are deeply committed to worshipping, working, and serving together; we seek a Priest-in-Charge to be our partner in this journey.
As a Priest-in-Charge, there is a three-year contract, and at any point after 12 months, the priest and the vestry can mutually discern to transition to having the priest be their rector. |
