|St. Peter’s seeks a full-time priest-in-charge, who will hopefully become our rector after the initial three-year contract. As a parish, we are feeling optimistic and hopeful about finding the right person who will lead us into the future. We seek a priest who is energetic and approachable, and willing to get involved in all facets of life at St. Peter’s that help us to grow in following Jesus Christ. Our parish feels that fellowship and outreach to the community are just as important as our Sunday worship and Christian Education in helping us to grow spiritually and fulfill our mission. Our next priest should be open to listening to us as a parish, and willing to try new things that will help to revitalize St. Peter’s, increase our membership, build fellowship opportunities, and engage youth and younger families. Through this, we hope to increase our budget to meet our minimum diocesan giving, as well as embark on improvement projects around our parish.
Our parish is located in beautiful Medford, New Jersey, a lakeside community that is close to both New Jersey beaches to the east and the city of Philadelphia to the west. We own our own rectory which is right next door to the church. We are blessed to have a full-time parish administrator, and part-time Christian formation director, music director, sexton and treasurer, as well as a dedicated deacon. We are excited at the prospect of finding the right priest to guide St. Peter’s and to become a part of our parish family.
