Job Description
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Sea Cliff, New York seeks an amiable and qualified individual to serve as the administrator of our village parish. In light of the global pandemic and its effect on our church, this position is being redefined. The successful candidate will possess initiative, a notable penchant for creative problem solving and a fearless approach to balancing new technologies with conventional methods.

The general responsibilities of this position include bookkeeping and financial administration; parish management and office support; a keen sense of marketing and design. Candidates must be well-organized, genuinely friendly and trustworthy. This is a part time job: 16 hours per week September through May; and 12 hours per week in summer months. The starting wage is $20 an hour.

Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Working expertise in financial administration; budgets, reports, account review, payroll, bills…
Well versed in the use of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets…) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Publisher) and Quickbooks.
Experience administering web-based communication platforms; Mailchimp, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Zoom.
Familiarity with website authoring and management software (i.e. SquareSpace)
Familiarity with information management systems (ex. Ekklesia) that maintain accounting and community data.
Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively and responsively in an environment of self‐oversight.
