Job Description
The Parish Administrator will provide a point of contact for the parish and help facilitate and communicate all activities of the parish both in the building and offsite events. Essential Function: Provide a welcoming atmosphere for all who contact or visit the parish offices
Create Sunday bulletins (English and Spanish)
Make sure all printed communication is designed and ready for distribution
Market the church through advertising, handouts, mailings, and online resources
Work with Finance Department to produce reports for vestry and finance
committee
Manage all uses of the building:
Ensure spaces are scheduled
Collaborate with custodial staff to ensure rooms are ready for an event
Work with volunteers and/or staff to set up rooms for events
Maintain all aspects of the Registrar:
Record all Baptisms, Confirmations, Weddings and Funerals
Design and make available or mail newcomer packets
Create a system to record newcomers
Ensure newcomers are being communicated with by Rector and/or related staff
Maintain current member status
Produce current and accurate mailing labels for mailings
Processes all information necessary for parochial report
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient with all Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and social media
Preferred ACS literate
Knowledge of the Episcopal Church-liturgy and polity
Willingness to learn new technological tools and/or programs
Demonstrates ability to work with leadership teams
Maintaining files for important documents
