Church Pension Group’s domestic account relationship model provides domestic Episcopal dioceses and parishes with informed, dedicated support in understanding and accessing the full range of benefits-related products, programs and services available to them. The incumbent must be proactive in assessing and managing the information and service needs of various regions, and must be collaborative in working with peers around CPG to respond to the benefits needs of domestic dioceses within the context of CPG’s mission.

The ultimate goal of the Director, Integrated Benefits Account Management Services – Eastern U.S. Region role is to build and maintain strong, trusting and professional relationships with bishops and diocesan and parish leadership in domestic dioceses so they come to experience and understand us as a consultative benefits partner within the context of our mission and fiduciary responsibility to support them. The incumbent must understand and adapt to the diversity of supported client segments and effectively communicate CPG’s vision, business model, mission and strategy to all levels of TEC leadership and clients. He/she should continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction, identify and relay critical concerns, contribute to and creatively resolve issues. The success of this role will be measured in terms of client engagement and universal respect. Success also will be measured with reference to client satisfaction scores and other feedback we collect from those we serve.

The incumbent will be responsible for the Eastern U.S. region and will be required to travel up to 60% of the time.

This is a telecommuter position. When not traveling for business, this is a home office environment, with CPG provided equipment, including computer, printer, internet service, router, and telephone.

Track-record of success in client outreach, client service and/or account management including Executive Level Leadership.

Experience in leadership and individual and team development.

Ability to work at all levels of an organization. A collegial and collaborative working style is required to facilitate key working relationships with all external and internal clients.

Experience with insight-driven decision making.

Familiarity with the polity of the Episcopal Church and an understanding of the nuances of each domestic entity preferred.

Highly professional demeanor.

Strong written and verbal skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and with a team.

Detail oriented analyst capable of determining and executing actions to achieve results.

Ability to plan and design sales proposals and financial analyses.

Strong organizational skills.

Proficient computer skills.

Valid Driver’s License.

Willingness to travel extensively – up to 60% of the time.

Must have reasonable access to major airport within Provinces 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the Episcopal Church.

Track record of exemplary staff leadership, coaching, and development.


A minimum of ten years of experience in account management and/or customer relations required. Minimum of two years in a supervisory role. Experience in employee benefits account management and/or customer relations preferred.

Administration of diocesan and/or group employee benefits desired.

BA\BS or combination of experience and education.
