Job Description
We are seeking a co-rector to share time in a unique way,  so that being retired in the most beautiful setting and temperate climate in the world, allows for time to both serve God and be retired. Our stipend is small, but we also include housing or an allowance.  Our flexibility allows for the possibility of seasonal employment if you choose as the two co-rectors will work together to divide the position as they feel best serves the congregation.

We are looking for a priest ordained in the Anglican/Episcopal Communion, with an MDIV and parish experience to share in leading worship, providing spiritual leadership and direction to the congregation, oversight to pastoral care (we have a paid parish caregiver), oversight of vestry committees and involvement in diocesan activities.

St. Andrew’s is an ex pat congregation with about 100 present on Sundays, a first class music program and choir, a mostly aging but active congregation, vibrant prayer book liturgy, committed vestry leadership, and talented, experienced members who serve on a variety of committees. Our congregation is very committed to outreach and raise approximately 25% more than our operating budget to donate to the local community.

We enjoy this beautiful setting in the Diocese of Western Mexico and want you to enjoy it as well.  Located on the north shore of Lake Chapala, at an altitude of 5,000 feet, our parish serves one of the largest expatriate communities in the world, including people from all walks of life, races, sexual orientations, and religious affiliations. Our ideal candidate is an adventuresome individual, interested in living outside their home country and experiencing and embracing a different culture in a slower paced, low-cost area, 30 miles from the city of Guadalajara (8 million people) and its international airport.  Spanish language skills not required.
