The candidate we seek:

• Holds a performance degree in organ and/or choral conducting from an accredited college, university, or conservatory
• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Possesses the willingness, desire, and energy to develop a fledgling program into maturity
• Understands and appreciates the Anglican choral tradition
• Has a working knowledge of Episcopal liturgies
• Works well with minimal supervision
• Is a team player

Proposed program elements include:

• Weekly Eucharist
• Weekly (mid-week) rehearsals
• Monthly Evensongs
• Triennial residencies (e.g., to an English Cathedral)
• Children’s choir program
• Collaborative partnerships with local colleges and universities, possibly to include a section leader program
