Saint Michael and All Angels Church is seeking a leader and committed follower of Jesus Christ to provide adaptive leadership and oversight to the Children’s Ministry (birth–5th Grade) to build faith, form disciples of Jesus Christ and equip parents to disciple their children. The vision is to move beyond simply focusing on the kids attending and expanding to the family as a whole in alignment with SMAA’s Core Focus: “Build Christian disciples for a transformed community.”
The Children and Families Director will be on the Formation team and work together to expand the vision. The next CFM Director will need to be collaborative with staff, volunteers and parents. Building relationships with each of these three groups will be crucial to growing the ministry. The Children and Families Director at Saint Michael and All Angels Church will develop the experience of each child as they walk the journey of faith toward a life of following Jesus at their church home. An innovative, energetic and confident leader will thrive on this team and in this role. |
