Job Description
Exciting collaborative work is happening in Southeast Florida at this time. We are redeveloping properties and running a variety of experiments with the support of a great team of committed members of the diocese and some very competent consultants. The Canon Missioner oversees the work of congregational development and evangelism, equipping wardens, vestries, diocesan committees, and other lay leaders with the skills and resources needed to lead, cultivate, and grow dynamic congregations that are rooted and grounded in God’s mission. Since transition time is a fruitful season in the life of a parish, as an integral part of this work, the Missioner also supervises and manages transition ministry for the diocese in partnership with the Canon to the Ordinary. The Canon Missioners is supported by the ministry of the Canon for Hispanic Ministries and the Archdeacon for Congregations of African Descent.

We are looking for a priest in the Episcopal Church with a minimum of four years’ experience within a congregation or faith-based organization where behavior and function are driven by the Christian faith.
