The Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane is seeking to add a full time lay or ordained Canon for Camp, Youth and Family Ministries to her leadership team. This position includes serving as the Executive Director of Camp Cross, our diocesan summer camp, and a concurrent focus on, and oversight of diocesan programs for youth and family ministries. The Canon for Camp, Youth and Family Ministries will be a member of the Bishop’s executive team partnering with her and her staff sharing in the ministries and responsibilities of the diocese.

We desire to strengthen our youth ministry and expand our family ministry with an emphasis on discipleship and formation. Camp Cross is one of the most beautiful rustic summer camps in The Episcopal Church and it is a center for spirituality and formation for our diocese. Our diocese encompasses central and eastern Washington and northern Idaho. We are a diocese of primarily rural and small town congregations, with a cluster of university towns and two major population centers.
