Full-time, post-graduate leader who will live in-residence at our Canterbury House at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Under the guidance and support of the Youth Missioner & Interim Campus Missioner, they lead a team of Peer Ministers, assist with diocesan youth ministries, supervise Canterbury House residents and maintenance, and develop relationships with students and other campus ministers.
The Campus Ministry Program Assistant at Kansas State University facilitates the development and execution of the K-State Episcopal Campus Ministry (St. Francis Canterbury House). Their work is focused on the identification and formation of peer ministers who will grow and maintain the ministry. Program Assistants manage relationships between peer ministers, fellow campus missioners, and diocesan staff members to best serve the needs of K-State students. There are also opportunities to do vocational discernment throughout the year. This is a rewarding and life-giving position for those who desire to serve God’s Kingdom through helping college students grow in faith and love of Christ.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and your own car; Basic computer skills; Ability to be welcoming, inclusive, and develop relationships with others; Ability to work independently and motivate oneself and others
Compensation: $1200/month + housing and utilities + cell phone reimbursement
