Founded in 1817, Christ Church has an average Sunday attendance of 450 across four services and a staff of 12, including three full-time priests. Our liturgical style is formal, reverent and firmly grounded in the Anglican tradition. The parish is widely-known for its excellent music program, which includes a professional choir that sings roughly 20 services of Choral Evensong each season. True to the principles of its founders, Christ Church remains politically neutral and is a congregation of diverse points of view, all of which are respected and valued.

A portfolio of specific areas of responsibility will be assigned by the Rector, depending on the Associate’s gifts and experience, from among the following: Adult Formation, New Members Ministry, Liturgy Preparation, Mission and Outreach, and Parish Life Development. Applicants with experience and/or calling in any of these areas should highlight them in their application.

In addition, we expect that the Associate Rector will:

– assist in leading worship, preaching, and administering the sacraments and pastoral offices with the Rector and Assistant to the Rector;
– assist in the pastoral care of the congregation;
– assist in planning, visioning, and organizing with the staff and parishioners.
