|St. Peter’s Episcopal Church|
|St. Peter’s is located in the heart of downtown Rome, in the “Between the Rivers” historic district. We have an ASA of 200. Services of worship on Sunday are at 8:30 (Rite I), 10:00 (Rite II) and 1:00 (Rite II in Spanish). We have 2 small, but meaningful weekday Eucharists as well. Our liturgical style is broad church. In 2019, we will celebrate out 175th anniversary.
We are seeking to call an Associate Rector who will share in preaching, pastoral care, presiding, teaching, and all other areas of ministry. In addition, the Associate Rector will oversee youth ministries. We will consider both transitional deacons and ordained priests for this position.
St. Peter’s is located about 1.5 hrs northwest of Atlanta and 1.75 hrs south of Chattanooga, in Rome, Georgia. Rome is home to Berry College and the Rome Braves (minor league baseball team). It has a substantial medical community, excellent schools, a bustling downtown, and offers plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities.
